My neighbour phoned this nursing home for advice on a specific issue. Their name, phone number and details of that issue were taken by reception with a promise of a call back within an hour . That was five days ago, they are still awaiting a return call, and have now spoken with another nursing home.
Lovely,Friendly and beautiful place for resident
My Mum has at BMG for over 3 years. She has dementia and mental illness. This has been the best decision we made for her. She has a comfortable room opening on to a lovely garden. The facility always looks and smells clean. The food they provide is fantastic and has a lot of variety. She is attended to all day with whatever she needs. But best of all the nursing and care staff are first rate and I am always so grateful to their kindness and patience. They call me without hesitation to give me updates whether good or bad. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Very disappointed as my Mum was there for one year 2023-24 and from day one there were always issues. Staff really not trained as my mum had infections due to carers not wiping her down properly after the shower. Carers were not fluent in English. A few falls, where carers are not around. Infection control not properly adhered to, left faeces on her slippers and went into her bathroom to wash them down in her bathroom basin. Clearly do not understand dementia, she was always lonely. Covid was not managed well in the facility. Took my mother home to care for and she is flourishing. Aged care is not what it should be. I would definitely not recommend this facility. Communication from management, care manager and carers need serious work and you know as there have been several facility managers within the year. If I didn't take my mum out I believe she wouldn't be around, the care factor needs serious work. I was visiting my Mum everyday and did the carers job as I made sure she was ready for bed, helped her with personal care. Facility said we have plenty of staff, this was not the case otherwise I wouldn't of done what I did. Too many issues to list. Buyer beware of this facility.

Really disappointed by your lack of care and basic hygiene standards for my grandmother. Really unacceptable leaving mouldy juice in her room for days, not changing her clothes for days on end and not brushing her teeth resulting in tooth decay and teeth being pulled out due to that damage. Don’t use this “care facility” for your loved ones.
