Part of the HammondCare Miranda community, Mason is a new apartment building that supports people with low to high frail aged care needs in spacious, single ensuite rooms. Modelled on real households, the apartments feature HammondCare's leading design principles - setting the gold standard of care recommended by the Royal Commission. Mason comprises 6 small apartments with up to 10 residents per household. Central, family home kitchens welcome social connection and involvement in meal preparation. A mix of inviting living areas, quiet sitting spaces, and easy-access balconies offers choice in daily living. The onsite general store supports continued involvement in grocery shopping. Care teams receive specialised, certified training and use a relationship-based approach to provide 24/7 registered nurse-led care tailored to the individual.
