Prunus Lodge is a 28-bed low care aged facility incorporating Rose Cottage, a 12 bed dementia specific secure unit. Prunus Lodge offers 24 hour residential care provided by trained personal care staff. Each resident has a spacious room with private ensuite and can access a relaxing spa bath if desired. Prunus Lodge offers both permanent and respite care. Prunus Lodge is situated in the heart of the village of Molong and residents are able to walk to the central business centre. Molong has two doctors, a District Hospital, a chemist shop, cafes and art gallery together with the Post Office and Commonwealth Bank in the main street, Bank Street. It is also home to the famous "Molong Gelato Factory".
