My father in law lived at Figtree for 6 months before his passing. He was in a large room with a side view of the lake. Fridge, Microwave, TV and Recliner Chair were included in his room. He loved the food and especially the deserts. So compliments to the Chef. The Nurses and Carers were amazing. They were friendly and always willing to do anything extra to make his stay comfortable. He never participated in any activities but the daily program looked great and varied. I think we were fortunate that Figtree had a vacancy when he needed to go into Aged Care. I would highly recommend this home for your loved ones.
This is not a complaint against the Nursing Home but it is a complaint about one of the young Nurses (an Indian Nurse who had a broken rear car window). She had a broken rear window yesterday afternoon and I had just returned home before my Gardners showed up (I live on Harris Street as well), when I saw my Gardeners talking to this Nurse I came out to find out what was going on and I (had no idea about the broken window, I didn't even know what car it was but she seemed to dislike me from the start and was very unpleasant (just because she was in a bad mood it didn't mean she had to take it out on somebody else (from the massive dent in her car it showed me she might be a bad driver)). I had just returned from shopping and both my Gardeners and my security cameras (they face my property, not the road, so they would not have seen anything. She was parked in front of my next-door neighbour's yard anyway) can prove it. If she said she came to my door, my smart doorbell didn't show it either (it has a camera). She didn't try to apologise which she should have because she was in the wrong. It's a shame that one person can let down the whole Nursing Home.
i wounder full place. Thank you for your service
