I’m not good at tech sometimes I have 2 reviews because I thought I had to tap each star so tapped the first and ended up giving a one star review😩😩 Proper review below Mum was a resident at Regis for almost 3 years. She was in her 90’s, functionally blind and after the first few months completely bedridden and unable to move herself in bed. She went into residential care due to her increasing loss of mobility and extreme pain. The staff have been consistently careful with her to minimise pain and as she lost more and more physical capacity helped her adjust to dietary changes and having to be fed. She enjoyed a close friendship with many of the staff and often shared jokes and stories about her early life. Her nursing care was excellent, especially when she had a number of medical issues and the RNs were able to allay her anxieties. Her circumstances meant she was unable to join in any of the varied activities, but when something special was happening she often received a visit from the staff making it happen and had photos taken. Regis in Gatton has a very special culture which goes out of its way to make life as enjoyable as possible for residents, allowing for individual circumstances, and supporting and caring for family members as well. Each residential care facility is different but the culture in Gatton Regis helps it become a ‘home’.
good work and good service
I have found all staff caring and understanding. They have also been willing to answer the many questions that I had. Dad has only been there for a month now but the staff have done there very best to make him feel at home even when he gets confused with his dementia.
I just wanted to say thankyou so much to all the staff at Regis Gatton who have helped to look after my Mum, Greta Vickers, over the last few years. We could always sleep easy knowing she was getting the best care possible and she was safe and cared for. I know she got a little difficult towards the end and I hope anyone she lashed out at wasn't hurt too badly. Our Mum was one of the best and as difficult as it was to watch her deteriorate it was comforting to know that you all were there for her. Thankyou Regis Gatton staff once again.🌹💕 Pip and Mark West – Greta Vickers Rest in peace 5/1/25 (entered on behalf of family)
A real treat!! I was taken on a personalised tour of the kitchen and other utility spaces in our beautiful facility, courtesy of one our caring staff, to make me feel more at home. It was lovely to, now, have a visual idea of 'our home'. I was very impressed!! The facility is kitted out with the best of appliances and work spaces to enable all the staff to deliver their roles in caring for all of us residents, who are lucky enough to spend our final years in such a caring, well orchestrated facility, we now call home, with great pleasure. Thank you, sincerely!!!
Wow, mum had the best day out at the breakfast Creek hotel. The staff that accompanied them made the trip there and back so enjoyable, 10 out of 10 thankyou.
I have nothing but praise for this facility in really difficult times. The nurses love their patients. They are their family when Covid keeps family away. Using a country town aged care facility is so much better than seeing the reviews at City aged care facilities.
The change in Mum since she moved in has been amazing, best she has been in 10 years. Many thanks to all the Management and Staff for looking after her.
