Eldercare Hope Valley is a lovely aged care facility. All the staff, nurses and carers are very friendly, professional and so caring. They go above and beyond to help and care for my mum and also us when we are there! They offer so many activities and a great variety of fresh home cooked meals. The hairdressesers , front desk staff, allied health staff, laundry services are all amazing - an absolute gem!
I would have to say eldercare staff are the best ever people to take care of you and I my case my wife dianne.they could not be more helpful in all ways to make her comfortable etc we thank you wayne brad and evie big time thanks again for all you are doing
Lovely staff that treated my grandmother with care and respect to the end
Can't put in 1/4 star so 1 will have to do. They are on their 3rd chef since they took over and food is still well below standard. Pretty much all residents are complaining. Not enough staff on the floor. There is a 2hr gap in the afternoon with only one carer per wing. Cares and nurses are working their fingers to the bone to look after residents. Bring back Ananda. Could add more but running out of room.
Run, don't walk. The quality of care provided is dismal and inferior to Ananda. Staff numbers have halved and the food quality is dreadful. Recently, no fresh fruit for over a month. Some staff are wonderful but are stressed and unhappy and unable to provide proper care due to staff cuts. Most of what you see is just for show. Don't lift the lid.
Eldercare have had a hell of a job repairing, updating and replacing various plant and systems in the facility since they acquired it from Ananda. During the older days, you could absolutely see the cost cutting that took place, made all the more insulting when you saw the owner rock up in a current model Mercedes S Class. I noted an increase in the quality of care since they took over, however the use of agency staff brings about natural difficulties such as staff not knowing the clients needs personally which created gaps in the residents care delivery. Those who are full time with Eldercare, and those who kindly stayed on after the move from Ananda are great and are integral to providing that consistent continuity of care that is so needed in an overstressed and under-resourced aged care sector. They took good care of my Dad while he was there, both under Ananda and Eldercare they were sympathetic to his needs as an Alzheimer's sufferer. Just need to have more permanent staff on rather than relying on agency.
Wonderful care when run by Ananda..on a decline when Eldercare took over. Major renovations surpass quality nursing cares apparently. A handful of good staff but most carers with minimal training it appears. Many other facilities in the north east. Please consider others and give your loved one quality caring.
