A very warm and welcoming place with friendly staff. We visited a friend who was there for respite and he could not speak more highly of place. Lovely and calming outlook over the beach.
My husband Barry has been at Semaphore Residential for 8 months now, and I couldn't be happier. It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make during our 46 years of marriage, but the care he is receiving has allayed any fears I had after several bad experiences during respite in another facility. The staff are always friendly and helpful whenever I ask about his care. SRC may not be large or modern, but this makes it more personal. I am greeted by first name every time I visit, and I am impressed with how the staff treat my husband with dignity and respect. He has really settled in well and I am grateful for the care he receives.

My mum stayed at Semaphore Residential Care and we had such a wonderful experience. As a daughter living away, it gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was being so well looked after. The staff were caring, professional, and genuinely kind in every aspect, from medical needs to daily care. Mum always mentioned how good the food was, how much she enjoyed the recreational activities, and of course, the beautiful sea views made it feel so peaceful. The whole place is clean, welcoming, and really feels like a home rather than just a facility. I’m truly grateful to the team for making my mum feel comfortable, respected, and happy during her stay. This truly meant a lot for my family, so Thank You very much to the whole team!
My mum is at semaphore residential care centre since,2023 All the staff members are very professional and amazing. I appreciate it so much and I feel very safe to keep my mum and I trust all the staff members. I couldn't able to thank you enough. I will definitely recommend all the family members if they are looking for residential place. Thank you 😍
My mother has recently become a resident at this facility. After a traumatic few weeks in the hospital system we were anxious. This is the most beautiful and caring facility I have been too. I have been to many NH. Mum absolutely loves it, she is eating well again (they have their own kitchen) the food is excellent, doing regular exercises, and the diversional therapy, wonderful. The staff and management can’t do enough for Mum. We can relax and enjoy our time with Mum again. And the view straight out to St Vincents gulf, absolutely stunning. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for Mum.
Our father has advanced Alzheimers and has now moved to permanent care within this facility . The Care Manager, Bipana, and her staff have been exceptional in the care they’ve provided - they have liaised with DSA, physiotherapists , dieticians and doctors to ensure that dad is being cared for appropriately. The high quality of care has resulted in dad progressing from being totally immobile to walking short distances whilst assisted . We are incredibly grateful to all involved with dad’s care.
Mum is in respite at the moment and moving to residency at Semaphore. The staff are lovely and the family cannot fault the care she is receiving. It is a great comfort to our family knowing that mum is in wonderful care.
