Korongee is a purpose-built village for people living with dementia. Upon joining, you will be warmly welcomed as a valued community member. The village features twelve houses in four cul-de-sacs, a community centre, hairdresser, barber, gym, general store, and café. Opened by Glenview in 2020, Korongee transforms traditional dementia care into a small-house model that emphasises social engagement and independence. Beautifully landscaped gardens with winding paths enable residents to explore freely, while scenic mountain views promote genuine connections. This secure facility offers ample freedom to move around, with professional nursing staff available 24/7. The village reception desk is attended to daily, adding a further layer of safety and social engagement.
