The first time I entered the most impressive Arcare Clyde, I was warmly greeted by Sage at reception. After meeting with Gabby and touring the beautiful facility there was no hesitation in arranging for both my parents to have their respite stay. Sadly my father’s admission then required palliative care. It became a most overwhelmingly emotional time for my Mum, myself and all our family. During those very difficult days the Arcare staff were so amazingly supportive in allowing our family to visit and stay for lengthy periods to be with Dad during his final days, whilst also caring and comforting Mum. The nursing care and compassion given to Dad until he peacefully passed away was dignified and so respectful. A special mention of great appreciation to Deepinder. Our darling Mum has now returned to Arcare Clyde where she is being so lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff. She is settling in, forming friendships with the other residents and joining in the daily activities on offer each day. Thank you most sincerely to Abbey, who is always approachable and helpful , along with all the very kind, dedicated and outstanding staff at Arcare Clyde. Kindest regards, Karen Anderton ( daughter)
We can only praise highly the residency, care, staff and managemnt, plus the friendliness towards us when we visit. Mum has only had excellent comments since arrival late December. Very highly recommended.
I don’t normally write Google reviews and, if I’m honest, I often question how genuine they are. However, the care my mother is receiving at Arcare Clyde genuinely deserves recognition, which is why I felt compelled to write this. Before moving to Arcare just prior to Christmas 2025, my mother spent over a year in two other aged care facilities following a hospital stay. Unfortunately that experience was extremely difficult for her and for our family. Despite the best intentions of some individual staff, the overall care, food quality and responsiveness to medical concerns often fell short. My mother was frequently unhappy and her health declined during that time, which was heartbreaking to watch. Like many families we struggled with the guilt of placing a loved one in aged care and even considered bringing her home, despite knowing we could not safely meet her clinical needs ourselves. While researching alternatives I spent a lot of time reading reviews and noticed Arcare residences consistently received positive feedback. At the time Arcare Clyde was newly built and had no reviews of its own, so we took something of a leap of faith based on the experiences people had shared about other Arcare homes. I’m very glad we did, and that’s part of the reason I wanted to write this review. The difference since my mother moved to Arcare Clyde has been remarkable. The building itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, but what really stands out is the quality of care provided by the staff. The food has been exceptional. Every meal delivered to my mother has been hot and genuinely restaurant quality. I often find myself a little envious of the variety and quality of what she is served. Another major difference has been the consistency of care. My mother now sees the same group of carers regularly, allowing genuine relationships to develop. They know her as an individual and treat her with warmth, patience and a genuinely caring attitude. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. Importantly, my mother also has a great deal of autonomy regarding her daily routine and care decisions, which gives her a real sense of independence and dignity. Perhaps the biggest change we’ve seen is in her happiness. At her previous facility I often felt the need to visit every day because she was so unhappy and distressed. Since moving to Arcare Clyde she is genuinely settled and content, and much happier than she has been in a long time. The clinical care has also been outstanding. My mother previously suffered recurrent UTIs, which have not occurred since moving here. At a recent cardiology appointment (she has congestive heart failure), her cardiologist even commented on the significant improvement in her overall health since he last saw her. Communication with our family has also been excellent. Any changes in her health, treatment plans or GP visits are promptly communicated by the care team, which gives us enormous reassurance. My mother lives with dementia and can sometimes experience distressing hallucinations. The way the staff respond in those moments — calmly and compassionately — is incredibly reassuring. I would also like to acknowledge the carers in particular, who spend the most time with residents. Their patience, kindness and willingness to go the extra mile does not go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated by our family. Seeing the positive change in my mother has even changed my father’s perspective. He was always adamant he would never move into aged care, but after seeing the care and environment at Arcare Clyde I’ve noticed his language shift to saying “when the time comes for me to move into Arcare Clyde.” It’s subtle, but very telling. Knowing my mother is safe, comfortable and genuinely well cared for gives our family enormous peace of mind. Thank you to the entire team at Arcare Clyde — your work truly deserves more than five stars.
The team at Arcare Clyde looked after my parents and me from the moment I got in touch. They made a very overwhelming process so much easier and the whole team (too many to name) provided amazing care and support whilst my parents stayed in Respite Care. Once they are ready to go into permanent care I will certainly be bringing them to Arcare Clyde. Thank you team ❤️

Moving Mum into residential care was an overwhelming and heartbreaking decision that was made all the easier due to the kindness and compassion shown by the wonderful staff at Arcare Clyde. The facilities are beautiful and the care shown to residents is second to none.
I have been living here for about 2 months and it's a very nice place, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. The entertainment and activities are also very good. I would recommend people to come here.
Excellent place. My husband is there in respite. Staff, nurses, cleaners everyone were lovely and cheery. They go out of their way to help us always with smiles and eagerness. The place is very beautiful like a 5star hotel. Thank you Arcare for also taking good care of my husband
