Just spend 1 week there, respite care.supposed to be 2 to 4 weeks after hospital. My daughters took me to their home after 1 week. I received better care at my daughters, then with this nursinghome supposed to look after me. Absolutly atrocious !!! Shocking. Saw 1 nurse after 5 days, supposed to be checked multiple times daily, oxy level. I'm terminal and my daughters...and LRH thought was best place for me to be. Absolutly not ! " you are first nurse that came see me". After that, geez, every hour staff came in, offering sandwiches etc etc. Geez. 1 of staff, under his breath " well, you wanted attention, now you got it"! Could have died in the room and only kitchenstaff would have noticed bringing my..food 🤮 no attention about what I disliked, shouldn't have etc. "Cleaning the rooms, bathrooms, towels etc ?"..omg. Unbelievable how cleaning staff.." cleaned room, bathroom" 1 minute..in and out. Medications (slow release pain meds, which needs be given on time)..always late. Multiple times had to ask..please, where is it? Too busy. I wish, took my daughters recommendation, OMara house, but their room was bigger ( I thought wouldn't leave nursing home) I'm doing great in my own home now. With lots support Mercy Health. My daughter emailed concerns, but..manager resigned ??! What a mismanagement in this nursinghome. No way, I'm going back there and advice anyone...please,don't put your loved ones under their care, because there is none !! Just went look at.."reviews" ..their other websites...OF COURSE Most ALL GOOD reviews! Really hope , if you looking for nursinghome to look after your loved ones...please..look somewhere else. Management comes and goes. Gave me nightmares. " advance care plan "...please do not put me in nursing home !!!
Absolutely in shock as the way my mum was treated. Passed away in maryvale hospital.31/08/2024. 03/09/2024 direct debit money out of account. No respect. Phone call a week after her funeral not appropriated at all.
Looking after my Dad pretty well.
A beautiful aged care centre friendly staff and residents are well looked after with love
When I visit my pop, he hasn’t been properly taken care of, he has had things stolen from him, he can’t sleep. He shouldn’t have to feel unsafe in his environment and he used to come down to our place and they had forgotten to pack his insulin and he looked very faint when my parents took him fishing which is what he loves doing. And even today, we had asked a worker just a simple question and she was rude. The elderly should feel like it’s their home not jail. They deserve to be respected and the right to feel safe and secure and like they are heard. They should know their rights and I know that my pop did not know his rights.
