At a time of huge change, uncertainty and anxiety in our parent's lives, Damian Hutchesson (Werribee Arcare Client Services Manager), the management staff and every one of the amazing Nursing/PCA staff at Werribee Arcare, have provided the most incredibly supportive care and attention to our family's personal needs. On top of the loving and respectful daily care that is provided to our parents, Werribee Arcare is an amazing residential home....the quality of our parent's rooms, the communal living/dining areas, the external communal courtyards and other recreational spaces is the best that I've personally seen and experienced (having seen many other aged care residential homes across Melbourne with my partner's mother). If you have the need to consider aged care for yourself or a family member.... you will give yourself and/or your family, the most positive start to this "journey" by putting Werribee Arcare at the top of your list for first and highest priority consideration.

Arcare Werribee is heaven on earth to me. The care I am receiving is amazing … the doctors, nurses and carers are the absolute best as they all guide me on my journey as I navigate my way along my path of ill health. I am 73 years old and for the first time in my life I feel truly loved, wanted and respected and they constantly encourage me and teach me how to handle my unique challenges …I now understand Diabetes and allow myself to be taught and gently guided along … it is the most amazing feeling that I am now safe and that finally everything will be alright. Thank you to all the beautiful people here both staff and residents for all you do for me and the incredible love you show to me. I have picked up so very much since I have been here and am thrilled that in just over two weeks’ time I will become permanent … I have found my forever home here. I love you. Helen Mulrooney.

My mum has travelled from Qld for respite. Staff care and service has been exceptional. Mum was reluctant but after an hour she was happy and relaxed. Today enjoying high tea and sing along entertainment. As a family we are very happy with support for the interstate respite service. Victorian family so happy for mum being with us. Can't thank Arcare enough.

My Mum was the first resident to move in to Arcare Werribee’s and has been dubbed ‘The First Lady of Arcare. The transition into care was smooth thanks to Damien who couldn’t be more helpful and generous with his time. My Mum has completely changed in every way all for the better. She loves the food and meals are good quality. Natasha who is in charge is caring and has chosen wonderful staff to work there. Kathy the lifestyle coordinator who organises all the of the activities and outings is the perfect person for the job she is very bubbly and keeps the residents entertained. I have nothing but great things to say about Arcare Werribee.

My mother recently moved into Arcare Werribee after living alone for the past 25 years. After some trepidation, she is now wondering why she didn’t move in sooner! The facilities are great & she thinks the staff are wonderful. I appreciate how staff go out of their way to make her feel welcome and introduce her to the other residents. The food, staff & facilities are all first class.

Arcare Werribee have been great for our mum, Mavis. The establishment is new but has been well designed, incorporating the existing gum trees in the main courtyard. The activities have been great for our mum, with themed high tea, happy hour with entertainment and bingo. The facilities are great and it provides resort vibes, unlike traditional nursing homes. The staff have been amazing, even during her passing, they cared for her regularly, including the family during this difficult time. Management have been excellent to deal with, very approachable and genuinely interested in the residents, knowing them all by name and visiting them regularly. I can’t recommend this place enough, I’m actually going to miss going there.

Although moving our elderly father into Arcare Werribee was an emotional time, we have not regretted our decision. The beauty of the surroundings, the dedicated staff, the medical assistance, the individual care provided have been higher than we could have possibly imagined. Dad constantly comments on the beautiful home and its comfortable and well thought out design. It feels like you have entered a beautiful 6 star resort. So stunning, both inside and out. Visitors and family are warmly welcomed. The staff are truly amazing and dedicated to their clients. They know the residents all by first name and recognise the individual assistance each requires. They have dedicated nursing staff 24/7 and a doctor visits regularly. If you are thinking of placing your loved one in safe hands - don't wait - just book, you will find that you will not regret your decision.
