The lady was rude to me she said that I couldn't join activities today she was very rude
I went to put an application in during the week. I have never done this before and the lady is was dealing with was very rude and barked orders at me about things I hadn't done in the application. I walked out of there an burst into tears. I'm sure not all the staff are like her but your first meeting with someone should be friendly and helpful. I will not send my mother into a facility like that. There was a serious lack of empathy. I was disgusted. 😡
Absolutely beautiful staff that go up and beyond for my grandma, even when I bring my kids in the staff treat them like royalty
Excellent age care facilities, respectful staff.
My Mum was very fortunate to secure a room in this wonderful facility. Suddenly a room was available , that Ellenvale thought would be perfect for Mum. They encouraged the family to bring Mum's important things and to make it feel like home. A brilliant help in settling Mum in. They are incredibly thorough, thoughtful professional and caring. There is a happy atmosphere pervading the place, happy staff and happy residents. I live interstate,so was in WA to be with Mum. Mum took up residence shortly after I arrived,so I was able to spend many hours with Mum and in Ellenvale. During this time everyone from the Facility Manager,Emily, through to the tea trolley staff were so very helpful and kind. My mind is at ease that my almost 95 year old Mum, is safe and happy.
My Mum and Dad moved here in April 2015 and they have had the best care and support possible. Dad passed away and during that difficult time our whole family was supported and cared for with the utmost care and respect. If you or your loved ones are considering a home then this is the place to put at the top of your list.
Nobody would choose to live in a home instead of living at home, but if you must stay in a home, this is the best you can get. Caring staff, excellent food, first class facilities.
