Uncaring staff as tried to work fast and disregard patient cares. Not everyone is suitable for this position, poor staff selection in this place as no care & just ignore patients .
Very disappointed with the level of care provided here. For the prices being charged, you would expect genuine attentiveness, and professionalism, but unfortunately that was not our experience and so many other people that we know from here. The workers often seemed unresponsive, and looks like they don’t even want to be there. It felt more like a business focused on profit than actual aged care and wellbeing. Communication from management was poor, concerns were brushed aside, and overall the quality of care did not justify the high costs at all. This place failed to meet those expectations. Find elsewhere. Avoid Aegis.
Absolutely devastating experience with Aegis Murdoch. Ever since my elderly neighbour moved here, his condition declined badly. He suffered a fall, broke his hip, and things only continued getting worse afterward. He is now in a coma. It honestly felt like there was not enough care, supervision, or urgency given to vulnerable elderly residents. Watching this happen has been heartbreaking and deeply upsetting for everyone around him. Families deserve peace of mind when placing loved ones into aged care, and sadly this experience destroyed that trust completely. I would never recommend this place based on what we witnessed.
A really good aged care facility with friendly caring staff. High level PIN code security on doors and lifts keeps residents safe and prevents straying residents.
