Dear Staff of Whiddon Belmont, In the wake of our beloved mother Nita’s passing, we, Trevor Mullins and Darren John Mullins, are writing to express our deepest gratitude to each of you. Thank you for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion you showed to our mother during her time in your care. From the moment she became a resident, you treated Nita not just as a patient but as a member of your own family. We cannot express how much comfort it gave us to see her surrounded by such genuine warmth and concern every day. Throughout Nita’s stay with you, your care and compassion never wavered. You tended to her needs with incredible patience and tenderness. Whether it was a gentle word to brighten her day or the extra attention you paid to ensure she was comfortable, you consistently treated her with dignity and respect. Even in her most challenging moments, you made sure she felt valued and loved. Please know that your kindness made a profound difference in the quality of her life, especially in her final days. We also want to acknowledge the immense emotional support you provided to our family. You were never just doing a job—you were caring for a person we love, and you understood what that meant to us. You took the time to answer our questions, calm our worries, and even share a comforting smile or hug when things were hard. You not only cared for Nita, but also extended your compassion to all of us who gathered around her. Watching someone you love make the transition out of this life is a really difficult thing, and your wisdom and comfort helped us navigate this challenging time. Knowing that you were there for us as well as for her gave us strength when we needed it most. Your professionalism and dedication were evident in every aspect of Nita’s care. We saw the pride you take in your work and the respectful, careful manner in which you carried out even the smallest tasks. The empathy and skill with which you managed her health issues were matched only by the grace and dignity you maintained for her at all times. Our mother was a proud and independent woman, and you honored that by always treating her with the utmost respect. Your team’s unwavering commitment gave us tremendous peace of mind. We always knew that Nita was in capable, caring hands—a reassurance that meant the world to us. In her time at Whiddon Belmont, Nita came to see many of you as friends, and so did we. The atmosphere of kindness and community that you create is truly special. In those final days, as difficult as they were, we felt comforted by the fact that she was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her well-being. Your collective efforts allowed her to spend her last days in comfort and with dignity, which is a gift we will forever be grateful for. In a way, the care you provided became a final, beautiful tribute to our mother’s life, reflecting the same love and compassion she always showed to others. Finally, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Words alone can’t convey how much your kindness and compassion have meant to us. You gave our family the priceless gift of knowing Nita was loved and cared for in her home away from home. We will never forget the warmth and humanity you brought into her life (and ours) during such a difficult time. Our family will always remember each of you with gratitude and affection for the comfort you gave, the dignity you upheld, and the peace of mind you afforded us. Yours sincerely, Trevor Mullins and Darren John Mullins
