My Uncle and Aunty live here. My Aunty very recently died, so ourselves and many family members made the trip to Dubbo for her funeral. The community at Kintyre very generously allowed our family the use of their community hall for the wake. It was absolutely wonderful, there was plenty of room for the whole family and the facilities were lovely. The social club provided a most amazing table of food and drink for my family with such a beautiful and delicious range of things to eat. They also told us we we welcome to stay for as long as we liked that afternoon and into the night, and we weren't to worry about cleaning up. There was a big screen tv that had a beautiful photo montage of my Aunty displayed, and a microphone for family and friends to use for speeches. I was overwhelmed by the community generosity and so impressed with what I saw of the residential parts of the Village too. My Uncle has a lovely unit which is well appointed and he enjoys living there. He has made friends with many of the other residents and those whom I met at the wake were lovely. I would sincerely like to thank the Kintyre community for a comfortable and caring place provided to my family on such a difficult occasion, it really made a big difference to us all. We are a widespread family and don't get to see each other as much as we'd like to, so this was a wonderful place for us to gather and celebrate my Aunty's life. Thank you so much Kintyre.

Amazing care team of residents. Staff handle relatives calls of concern very tactfully. When issues happen and a relative calls office for clarification of an incident they are very calming

Staff seem quite nice. I deal with them on a professional level regularly and the residents I do see in the village seem happy.
