We would like to say we love here , not only lovely and beautiful place but also all staffs are so amazing and helpful. We are very impressed since our first contact with Craig. He provided clear, comprehensive and proactive communication right through our settlement. During our moving in, we got our lovely manager, Purity, who welcome us very warmly and help us to settle in smoothly. We felt very comfortable, being part of community and lucky to choose Calvary to be our home. Staffs are very motivating for residents to join various activities and keeping us informed via both newsletters and direct contact. We trust that we will enjoy our golden moments here at Calvary.

Beware!! My mother recently passed away and her body was removed from the facility by a Funeral Director contacted by a nurse, without my authority or approval. This is in contravention of the Public Health Act 2022. Explanations provided by Calvary management are preposterous. This follows another past issue where my mother was sent to hospital, in the middle of winter, dressed only in a light gown. There was no paperwork provided by Calvary, to the hospital, about my mother’s medication, resulting in an overdose of pain killers and anti depressants. Over the past 18 months I have constantly been sent text messages from nursing staff with photos of bruising to my mother’s arms, legs and torso, without any explanation as to what caused the bruising. I spoke to the Ward Manager telling her I thought my mother was being handled too roughly. She agreed and said she would speak to the nursing staff. The staff also ignore instructions from geriatricians as to what medications should be taken, and just order the same items over and over again, from the pharmacy. My mother was a resident for over 5 years suffering from dementia and was bed-ridden so could not speak for herself. The facility itself is very nice and the staff are generally very kind and efficient but unfortunately Calvary Ryde is let down by weak and incompetent Management and some RN’s appear to be untrained.

The Aged Care Facility rooms are well appointed with everything my mother needs. The care shown by the staff is much appreciated.

Very helpful purchasing process. Obliging and friendly staff. Our unit was completely renovated inside to a high standard and now that we’ve living there we’re finding Dalton Gardens completely convenient to shops, services and public transport. Outings organized in the village are very pleasant. Highly recommend the move whilst you are in control.

We researched several retirement villages and chose Dalton Gardens because of its close to shops and transport and suited our lifestyle. We have found the managers and staff to be very cooperative and friendly. Since moving in we have made several new friends and taken part in organised activities. We are very happy here and have no complaints.

My partner and I bought into an independent living apartment in Calvary Ryde Retirement Community 3 years ago. We found the sales process straight forward and easy to follow and are delighted with our apartment. What we love most about living here is the nature filled environment (trees, lawns, gardens, park and lake out the back gate, river 25 mins walk away), caring community with plenty of activities for those who seek that, easy access to transport (buses and ferries), easy access to shops (Top Ryde), local cafes (Putney), as well as medical, dental and allied health services. We also appreciate the respect, care and improvement work being offered by our current Village Manager.

Transitioned my Uncle from independent livening to Aged care at Top Ryde facility. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Staff are absolutely fantastic. Food is good quality and facility is clean and modern. Great room sizes too

What a wonderful place for elderly people! New building well maintained, very clean and welcoming! Home manager Samita is very professional and easy to approach, responds to all concerns in a timely manner. Care manager Rajina has solid clinical knowledge and leads clinical team to provide best possible care to all residents. Their Dementia Specific Unit purposely designed to meet care needs of residents who lives with dementia. Exceptional service by Pastoral Care Team to provide emotional support not only to residents, but to their extended families. Great variety of activities provided to residents by Leasure and Life team according to the residents choices. Definitely recommend 100%.
