Absolutely loving our brand new home in Sandy Shores. Everyone has been very helpful and very approachable. The village is beautiful, the next chapter of our lives is looking great.

We have not moved in yet? On settlement on 27th March no one was there to facilitate the takeover! The house was left unlocked and "keys" left on the bench. Unfortunately the keys did not fit the front door properly and we had to call out a locksmith ($95 fee) to attend to a key that would only lock the front door from the inside, and not the outside! Not happy jan! Apparently the people we bought the place from just left without checking with Michael, the manager, and they also took the letterbox keys and gate keys with them. We still don't have these keys. Michael has done his best to try and get them from the previous owners, no success to date. Luckily as we have a 3 week span before our existing property settles, we have a bit of time to move in. Otherwise, we are very happy with our purchase and the friendly people who live rgere and gave come to say hello when they have seen us at the villa.

Excellent location, 200m from the waters of Port Stephens with so much to offer around the area. The village is peaceful and there are opportunities to be involved as much or as little as you like.

We have lived here for nearly five years the present management Mick and Leisel are excellent, we like being involved in the different activities. Port Stephens is a beautiful place to live with lots of clubs, lovely beaches etc just wish we didn’t have to go so far to a large hospital, guess that’s the price you pay for living in paradise.

Visited here for an open day with my mum today, the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. They gave us plenty of their time answering questions and showing us around. The villas were much nicer than I expected; the 3 bedroom ones were great, enough space, nice light and airy living spaces, deck, ensuite or 2nd loo plus plenty of storage space. A tidy community including a pool. Great location close to shops and services or a short walk to the park by the water. Looks like it would be a lovely place to enjoy retirement.
