Ben’s @ Buckland is a real gem. If you know Ben’s Café at Lawson, you’ll already know the quality is fabulous — this is a wonderful offshoot that lives up to the reputation. Whether you’re visiting someone locally or just passing through, it’s an amazing place to stop, socialise, or simply enjoy a drink and a snack. The scones are seriously the best I’ve ever had, and the latte is easily the best locally. There’s plenty of seating both inside and out, and the area is quiet and beautifully ambient — perfect for sitting back and relaxing. Highly recommend, whether you’re visiting or just popping in along the way.

My father was in Buckland nursing for 10 months before passing. I can't recommend it more highly The staff go above and beyond and are so caring The facility is outstanding and recently refurbished Food and service fantastic Activities at least twice a day fabulous A big thank you to all staff for taking such great care of my Dad. Stuart

We placed my mother at Bucklands recently and want to praise all the nurses and staff for their kindness and caring ways. We would also like to commend the operation of the Nursing Home where Best Practice is employed in every situation. Our mother is truly happy, safe and engaged. Sincerest thanks to you all.

Great retirement village but has lost control of its reason for being. Govt has taken away the capacity to have care from 55 to grave. Residents no longer have immediate access to staged care.

My parents lived there until my Dad passed away and Mum continued to live there on her own and has recently moved into the hostel and is extremely happy living in her unit. She loves her meals 3 times a day participates in activities.

I'm changing my review. In the past it was a 1 star review. I've upgraded to a 3 star review. Since the new facility manager took over a year ago a lot of positive changes have happened. Johannes stepped up and was excellent during covid. Kept family up to date on lockdown and on going changes without fail. Food has improved with new menu changes. The staff are fantastic and do there best. Johannes has been promoted to the CEO and that personal touch is now lagging. But overall it's improved dramatically.
