Failing aged care infrastructure, where clients are reluctant to raise concerns for fear that their treatment/neglect will worsen, including when incidents are not reported to doctors on duty. High staff turnover and chronic inexperience means residents are neglected and treated as a nuisance/check-box rather than a fellow human. If this is the best level of care that can be achieved with current revenue and expenditure, then you seriously need to look at new models of funding and support. Situation will only deteriorate as the number of people requiring this service increases in coming years. You can judge the true purpose of a system by what it achieves, Northaven is profit at the expense of humanity.
