My mum was a resident of Goodwin Village for 6 years. The facility is fabulous. They have staff during the day Monday to Friday and a 24 hour call button for after hours emergencies ( such as ambulance). The staff are all lovely with a special shout out to the cafe staff - cafe is open Monday to Friday. They have a handyman for things like changing lightbulbs and checking you have your aircon on the right setting . There are a number of activities scheduled and a one stop phone to call a taxi. It is all designed very well for people with mobility issues including walkers . The location is great - walking distance to 2 bus stops and shops with a cafe almost accross the road and a pub a few toors down . My mum is now in residential aged care but her time here is remembered with great fondness.
