Bluecare administers my Mothers level 4 ACAT homecare package. While the majority of the support workers that attend are kind and helpful the procedures, efficiency and processes are very very poor. Not only are their prices for services ridiculously inflated it is almost impossible to have them do anything. I have been trying to have disability rails installed for over three months. There is in excess of $20,000 sitting in my Mum's account, after months the quote was approved and now it seems they just can't get it done. My Mum has had one fall and hospilisation during this process! Seriously consider other options before using Bluecare for an at home aged care package, they operate like a very inflexible government department and appear to be desperately understaffed.
