We have been to the coffee shop at The Avenue many times and everything there is just wonderful. The coffee shop is excellent with good coffee and freshly made food and snacks. Well worth a visit.

Amazing community to retire within. Such a 5 star establishment. All.of the clients I work with here at The Avenue are well presented, kind, smart, happy and greatful to be living here.. Great security. Feels very comfortable and so close to the Plaza.

We moved from a house to an apartment at The Avenue in our early 60s. The transition was easy once we were prepared for a major downsize. It’s a lovely place to live: friendly community, excellent staff, fresh & clean throughout, many facilities, beautiful gardens and landscaping. Quiet and peaceful throughout. Active social life if you want it. Great cafe -that’s important! It’s been a really positive choice for us.

A truly unique and special place to call home! 🤗☀️🏝️ My mum, our cat Mischief and I have lived at The Avenue Retirement Community for the past four years, and I can honestly say that moving here is one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, caring, and uplifting community where genuine friendships and beautiful connections are made and deepened every day. The staff and fellow residents are kind, supportive, and go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels valued and looked after. The facilities are modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of opportunities to join in activities, social events, and shared moments that make life here so enjoyable and connected, while also still respecting everyone’s personal space and privacy. What makes The Avenue truly special, though, is the sense of belonging. It’s not just a place to live – it’s a community where neighbours become friends, and friends now feel like family. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. My mum and I are so grateful to be part of such a vibrant, caring, and inspiring environment. Living here has been so much more than I expected and every day I feel so blessed to be here. I am also lucky enough to be on the Social Committee and play an active role in our community and this opportunity has been one I treasure as it has enabled me to get to know residents so much more and I’ve develop beautiful friendships with my fellow committee members as we create extra special moment to connect and engage our neighbours/residents. We are also within walking distance to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer - The Plaza, shops, the river, the beach and so many amazing restaurants and cafes, including our wonderful cafe onsite - “Connections Cafe” run by Compass. If you are looking for a place where you can feel safe, connected, and truly at home, I can’t recommend The Avenue highly enough.

The Avenue Maroochydore is a great place to live. Location is amazing. Facilities and staff are great. So nice to have others to talk to when you wan.

We've lived at The Avenue for just over 3 years now and love it. It's proximity to The Plaza, (a 10 minute walk), the in house cafe, the facilities and the social aspects are all contributing factors. We've joined a Scrabble group, a chess group, a Yoga class and play table tennis. If you want to join in things you can but if you want to stay in your room with a good book, that's okay too. We've met many like minded people. If you're feeling a little down, go sit in the sun outside and someone will come along for a chat. With Sullivan Nicolaides, Sunshine Coast XRay and an optometrist just down the street, many of your health needs are met. What's not to like?
