Feeling secure and not feeling alone . Enjoy the meals in Sunday lunch and special dinners, weekdays not my thing. Feel the garden group should be allowed to maintain gardens as they are looking shabby . Greg and Matt are doing a great job maintaining lawns , pruning etc but don’ t seem to have enough to do the gardens.
Firstly the complex is like a resort with a beautiful pool and lots of garden spaces that are well maintained. The common areas reminds me of a cruise ship with a great restaurant and enjoyable food where they cook on site and cater to different residents needs. There are also planned social activities on a regular basis, happy hour every afternoon that is well attended with a good time for all. Trivia once a month is fun and stimulating, challenging the brain. It's also a very friendly place, caring and supportive in nature, where it feels like family. Love the beautiful birds that habitat this coastal location. Close to Redlands Bay shops, pharmacy, medical centres, ferries and buses. Mother is as happy as can be and AVEO has been very accommodating to family members who need to stay with their parents for extra care needs. Lastly the staff here are so beautiful, will do anything they can for residents, always smiling and laughing and the community centre is clean and well presented. There is a new larger bus that takes residents shopping twice weekly as well as on social outings on a regular basis that all that can go enjoy. We all love the staff and hope they get the acknowledgement they deserve. So lucky to have this team of workers. Love from Noreen McNulty with the help of her daughter.
I have been here 6month now, I have lost my husband and I was looking for a retirement village to go too, and I have only looked at Redlands by the Bay and I love it immediately. The best decision I made was to moved here, The area is close to all the shops. I loved my unit its safe and secure! The teams are amazing and the residents are fantastic, I get along with everyone here.The garden villas is well maintained and kept clean. I love the community is well look after! I have so much freedom here and it helps me remain independently! I enjoyed the company from other residents! I am so glad I made the right decision to move here at Redlands by the Bay!
I have lived at Redlands by the Bay for over two years now, and have really settled in. For a small community it is very social and pleasant. Everyday has happy hour and lots of laughter. The grounds here are very well kept and there are lots of amenities at your disposal. There is a lovely pool, cinema, bbq, gym, dining room serving lunch and dinner on packages if you don’t feel like cooking. The management and staff here are all friendly and pleasant and very obliging. We are a short walk away from ferries going to the islands and 10 minutes by car to Victoria Point shopping centre and all the facilities there. Very nice place to retire.
Staff at redland Bay are cheerful and happy and very caring. Care staff are always happy to assist. Connie our nurse always approachable and cares for residents with a positive attitude. The food in our restaurant is amazing especially the pork belly. Wendy and all the staff in the kitchen make every dining experience exceptional. A lot of the staff have been here for many years since we transitioned from tall trees to Freedom and now Aveo. A beautiful community and I look forward to see what the future brings
Redlands by the bay Retirement Resort. A wonderful place to call home.Ive made many friends here,its just a Fun place to live I moved in here at 59 yrs of age, I enjoy the events held in our Macleay Restaurant by our very own chef Wendy never fails to deliver outstanding meals, the staff are just wonderful Emma Stone is our community manager Emma is thought highly of by all Peni in reception is our front line woman backing Emma to keep the wheels turning. I am 61 now and have No intentions of ever leaving, my neighbours are in their 90s and one resident 104. Says it all. Donna
This village is like living in a resort. I never actually want to go out. Wonderful friendly staff. Village is kept neat and tidy. We are kept up to date with village business. Any maintenance issues dealt with promptly and efficiently. Lovely lounge and coffee area. Great to have a gym and pool. Both well maintained. Close to shops and entertainment 2 minutes from Satellite hospital and Morton Bay. I feel safe and well supported in here. Best decision I ever made to move here. Was happy able to bring my pets. Paperwork when buying unit easy and explained well. Just the best.
Redlands by the Bay is the place to be to relax and enjoy great company. I’ve haven’t been this happy for years and now I live in the best community with amazing facilities. This place and the people have changed my life. I’m so happy I found Redlands by the Bay.
