Brochures and websites will tell you all about this village's central waterfront location, fascilities, and handsome apartments - but when making that very important choice about a home for your future years the decision should also be about the people. The welcome, helpfulnness, and the easy friendliness of staff and residents that we enjoy daily convinces us we made the best choice of our lives 5 years ago when we made this our home.

When choosing TriCare Runaway Bay as our retirement home it ticked all the boxes . Friendly and helpful staff - nothing to much trouble for them - near to shops - transport - doctors - security. On our first day here while still unpacking our neighbour asked us to join them for drinks at Happy Hour where we met many friendly people - - then we new we had made the right choice - plus many activities to join in - beautiful well maintained gardens. We are extremely happy with our choice of our new home

Being in a TriCare Retirement is the closest to Heaven! TriCare provides meals, the library has both books and newspapers, there are many varied events to suit most residents, the Units are well designed with instant response to the alert button. Everyone knows everyone so friends are everywhere. The staff are extremely efficient and caring and only too keen to give a helping hand. Thank you TriCare. From Jim Marquet.

I moved into Byron terrace about 2014, but after my husband passed away and due to family circumstances I moved to Tweed heads 2 years later. Hated it, and so I came back in 2018 to Keppel Lodge. This is now my home and where I feel safe. All the staff are great and very caring. Coming back tells you something!!! Joan Moore.
