Mum has now lived here for over 10 years and it is very comfortable and suitable for her at the moment. She's happy here. Has become a little more 'business like' which is a shame. The one thing that could be improved is the accessibility to the print notices on boards or posters in the communal area. The person with a vision impairment that is not only my mum cannot read poorly printed text, small print and so if there was notices about trips away, work planned in the village, covid warnings, emergency warnings, she may not see them and miss out on vital information. I believe the newsletters from Southern Cross have not always been accessible either due to colour and poor contrast. And being in her 80s, she has not got a computer so answering surveys, or completing forms cannot happen electronically.
