My husband and I have lived here for nearly 13 years. And we have enjoyed every moment of it. Gab our manager is a very caring thoughtful person, Kat our Lifestyle coordinator is very creative in all the events snd outings that we have. And Carol our receptionist is always very helpful and knows our Village inside out. They all make it an enjoyable place to live. Also our gardeners and maintenance people are very amiable. We love it here. We wouldn't live anywhere else.....

My mum moved in here 4.5 years ago and we could not fault the village. She was welcomed by the gorgeous community with open arms. Her renovated unit has met all her needs to date and we love visiting her in her home. Mum says she’s never been happier.

We’ve only been living here for about 8 weeks, but it already feels like home. From the moment we arrived, the friendliness of the neighbours really stood out — everyone says hello, stops for a chat, and genuinely makes you feel welcome. There’s a lovely sense of community here without anything feeling forced, which we really appreciate as newcomers. The village has a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and it’s clear that people enjoy living here. The landscaped gardens are beautifully maintained and are a real pleasure to walk through or simply sit and enjoy. They add so much to the overall feel of the place and make every day feel calm and inviting. So far, our experience has been extremely positive, and we’re very happy with our decision to move here. We’re looking forward to becoming even more involved in the community as time goes on. Highly recommended!

Great village to reside in. A safe environment with good living facilities. Well kept garden areas with a nice lake. People and staff are very friendly and Communal facilities are extremely pleasant.

I would like to share my thoughts about Levande Donvale. I was fighting the thought of living in a retirement Village, as I thought I would loose my Freedom & Independence, but I was so wrong. Once I found it was getting difficult to live at home, in a lot of ways, even so that I am very lucky to have a wonderful family & they’re always there for me. One day I decided to go & visit a lot of Villages & for the most just didn’t feel right, until I drove in at Levande, it almost felt like somehow I got a big hug & saying you’re home. So kept driving & saw the beautiful gardens, as the garden is very important to me. So I took it a step further & I did ask my son for help, we spoke yo a wonderful lady about all I was looking for & a result I have now being here for about 6 months. I have found that the staff not only in the office also the gardeners & maintenance are truly beautiful people, they never have made me feel I couldn’t go up to them & speak to them. I feel that I am so very lucky to have met some fantastic people, around the place but most of all my neighbours, they truly look after me. I will go further in saying one of my neighbour is Italian, so it’s great that we can converse in Italian, we tend to tease each other a bit, but in all good fun. I guess I better stop, it’s also important to say, that there’s a lot to do if you wish, but you can also stay in your home. This has been the best move that I could have done in this time of my life. So thank you Levande to have such a beautiful place/people to grow old in. Regards Connie

Donvale Village is all I could of hoped for and more. From the wonderful staff, the beautiful surroundings and all the fabulous friends I have made. The village offers a great array amenities that I use regularly, including an indoor pool, bowling green, exercise classes, tool shed and a lovely community garden. It's just a great place to be.
