Took my older sister for a quick look as she is in the market to downsize since her husband died. Was supposed to look at a 2 bedroom detached unit advertised in the local paper. Could not find a detached building anywhere within the grounds. Most units were close together with little or no private garden area. Parking for one car per unit only. Long uphill walk to the station. Long walk to shops. Not suitable for elderly without transport.

Grace Gardens is situated in a lovely location, next to the Bogong Reserve. It is very well maintained and the residents are all lovely. Grace Gardens shares a site with Estia Health Glen Waverley Aged Care giving me extra peace of mind should my mother need to be moved to a higher care facility in future. Highly Recommended!

A wonderfully located retirement village within walking distance to all the services Glen Waverley has to offer. 10 minute walk to the train station and bus stops. Situated adjacent to a lovely nature reserve with walking tracks and a playground for my grandchildren to play in when they visit! This retirement village felt different to others I have toured. It is peaceful and available only to the over 70's. The villas and apartments promote independent living which is of great importance to me considering I am physically active and able. Highly recommend Grace Gardens and it is sitting at the top of my list!
