Baldwin Living Kensington Hill is a safe gated, boutique village, friendly, homely with all the modern facilities you could ask for i.e: indoor pool, spa, gym, library, lounge, dining room and regular social and interest activities. Beautiful grounds and manicured gardens. There's less than 100 residents at any one time and everyone has their own seperate brick veneer 2 or 3 bedroom home with private rear courtyard and lock up garage. The Village is centrally located in Leopold near public transport, medical, allied healthcare and shopping centre. There is not a step on the property around the grounds, in the clubhouse or your home. It's very easy to move around. The residents are welcoming and the staff are always available to assist.
Great management team. Great facilities with proper ongoing maintenance schedules. We have an educated and dedicated AED team with our own AED. Social entertainment is whatever you put into it yourself, so I’m having a ball. Recently we had a great Anzac Day and people came out of the woodworks with fantastic family artefacts and photos. So our local community War memorial will be interested in our photography collection there. Winters is on its way and a fair few will be heading to warmer weather for weeks or months for that, the travel club is growing momentum. The gardening club can’t wait to get out their seceteurs to prune the big rose collection. The lemon tree is looking fantastic and we’ve got ourselves some fruit tree nets this year, nectarines are my fave. There’s a few eagle eyes on the last of the strawberries. Who’d have thought blokes love vacuuming, that lawn bowls field is cleaner than my carpet. I’m running the bingo club, and we’re not playing for sheep stations but gee we have a lot of laughs, and the caller sometimes has to keep us in line. The rock n roll night is about to take off, we just have to get the Netflix group shove over. Think I’m going to listen to some music in the sauna today. A lot will be keeping to themselves, and that’s no big deal, no pressure there. There’s respect for all lifestyles. I’ve been so busy lately I haven’t even had time to wave to any neighbours. But no one really cares about that either. I’m off to Bunnings to go get an Angels Whisper plant. And my dog is whinging for brekky. Have to pull out my togs for the pool. Chow.
