A very impressive village with good, varied facilities for everyone and support if necessary. Interested only in 3 bedroom villa s at this stage but a bit concerned about the living space which may be a deterrent for some.

My mother has been resident in the “low care” part of Deborah Cheetham. The staff were very caring, efficient and showed great respect and empathy always. We were very happy with the service
Highly disappointed in Ryman management and some staff. A group of staff park daily in the service rd in shell rd and constantly and continuously smoke, loiter and litter in the gutters and nature reserve in front of our homes. Meaning an area once a beautiful nature reserve has become a hang out for smokers who have no respect for our environment, community or fire safety. These are the staff caring for the residents of Ryman while disrespecting our local community and residents in shell rd. Attempt have been made to move them onto somewhere more appropriate but the staff refused to move or change their antisocial behaviour or respect for our nature reserve. We look forward to a resolution to this issue asap. I realise the staff have been asked to clean up their rubbish and cigarettes however they continued to do the same behaviour every day multiple times. It would be beneficial if the staff were given a smoking hut and parking on Ryman land rather than in our gutters and nature reserve. Highly disrespectful to community residents, causing congestion in small shell rd service rd which is not big enough to accommodate parking for such a big company/ retirement village. We look forward to the staff moving to an area that is away from family homes. We look forward to management creating a respectful environment for both Ryman residents and their local neighbours. These photos are taken after the issues were supposedly addressed. Staff refused to move on or show respect by parking elsewhere when they knew it was problematic.
They show little regard for the local community, continuing to have their staff park and make it hard for the local traffic to navigate driving into the street and parking themselves, all while their own onsite car park sits empty. As well, their staff use the street as their own break room/smoke room, sitting in the gutters. The smoke often drifting into local houses, leaving butts, presenting fire hazards and setting a lovely environment for the local children. This has all been brought up with the company and manager for months, but nothing changes. Maybe the only way to bring change is to start sharing this information and photos on their social media pages, so that future projects and customers can be informed of their true nature.
