Absolutely magnificent. I was lost for words. Seeing is believing. They have everything. The units are top class. Wish we had the same in Tasmania.

There are so many activities, the villa owners are a friendly lot. Short distance to Woodend, you can either walk or utilise the public bus service. If you are a walker this place is paradise. A grand train service to Melbourne to Bendigo

Retirement homes at 50 way to make people feel older than they are. Avg 50 year old has teenage children. What can you bring your teen kids to a retirment village. There are pro Athletes in there 50s now. Just a money making rort, When I was a kid retirement homes were for over 65's life exp has gone up and now it's gone lower in age. Most 50 year olds I know look 30s as an Athlete. Kelly Slater the surfer could move in here. Lebron James in only 9 years. 50 year olds still party like they did in there 20s and 30s. Imagine having a 50th birthday party and wanting to party all night and having your poor neighbours in there 80s putting up with it. I just went to Vegas for a mates 50th and they partied harder than us in our 30s. Avg Age of a first time Dad in Australia is 36 most kids live at home until mid 20's plus what can you bring your kids in? All these lifestyle villages bringing age down, no wonder people are choosing to live at home longer.
Our youngish friends live here. The facilities are fabulous! The community feel is very strong. I would like to live there myself!
