We were with this service for around a year for both speech and OT for my autistic non-verbal daughter. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing overall due to ongoing inconsistency and poor communication. Appointments were frequently changed, therapists seemed to come and go, and communication around scheduling and support was often unclear or last minute. For children with autism, consistency and routine are incredibly important, so this made things really difficult for both my daughter and our family. While some staff were kind and tried their best, we ultimately decided to move providers because we didn’t feel the level of support and stability was there. Since leaving, we’ve found an amazing OT elsewhere and have already noticed a positive difference. I hope the service improves in the future, especially for families with high support needs children who rely heavily on consistency and strong communication.
