The team at First Step Therapies are absolutely amazing! From the very first introduction all the way through the therapy process. The team walk side by side with you every step of the way (pun definitely intended). I would absolutely recommend the team at First Step Therapies for all your support needs.

After being dismissed by many therapists, I took my teenage son looking for support with his challenges. The director Tori is dual qualified as both Speechie & Occupational Therapist so was very thorough and provided a brilliant report that resulted in funding we were able to access to support him functionally to successfully complete year 12. The therapists were friendly and managed to get him to engage - which was a win in itself. While primarily a clinic providing support to primary aged, my experience has shown they are very versatile. Inexperienced, unprofessional and uncaring. We really wanted this to work but unfortunately it didn't. There are some really brilliant caring skilled therapists in the area but this isn't one of them. Would give 0 stars if I could.

We’ve been highly disappointed with our experience at First Step Therapies. From the beginning, the process felt unorganised and unprofessional. We were paired with a clinician for our child’s assessment, but after the session, she had no idea what the next steps would be. I had to initiate the questions just to understand what would happen moving forward. It took an excessive amount of time to even receive the assessment report, and when we did, it was incomplete. Upon requesting the full results, we were told there would be an extra charge — something that should have been made clear from the start. Overall, it felt like we were dealing with an inexperienced service, and unfortunately, our confidence in them was lost from the very first visit
