Jess Saffron is a wonderful Speech therapist based in Bendigo. She is fantastic at what she does. She works so hard for her participants and always finds creative ways to support them. Jessica is really proactive with care teams too. She is happy to provide her knowledge with the team. She makes sure support workers actually understand the therapy plans, know how to use AT properly, and feel confident helping families use it at home. Jessica is warm, approachable, and just easy to talk to. She builds genuine connections with families, even when there are language barriers, and you can see how much they trust her. I’ve seen huge improvements in the non‑verbal kids she supports, and it’s clear her work makes a real difference. We’re very lucky to have her.

Where to begin… We organised for a singular OT session, we were there continued to be billed for items we had no idea about. For one session we have paid in over $700. They are one unethical business and I worry for whoever has an ndis plan with them. Please make sure they are not taking money out unlawfully. Charging 90 minutes for a 60 minutes appt, charging $70 to read one report, charging $70 for ‘preparation’, charging 2x $70 for travel that is double the time Google maps says, charging for a phone consult that was never planned nor confirmed. Oh and be aware their text message confirmation reminder is outside the time you can cancel, so even if you try to cancel, they’ll still charge. If you try to query it, they’ll leave a message that says they’ll send it to the debt collectors, two weeks after the invoice and before they would even address the issue.

My experience with the OT group has been fantastic, they are very helpful and friendly. Olivia has been wonderful with my daughter and I have seen big changes with the supports so far.

I have been using the OT Group for around 3-4 months and have had a good experience so far with my son. Grace has been doing sessions with him and I have found her to be fantastic and my son has also been enjoying his sessions with her. We look forward to continuing our time with Grace and the OT Group.

Disappointed as a Functional Assessment ONLY turned into repeated useless teaching sessions which I explained would be of no help. I was right. How much of my daughter's NDIS funding wasted for them to discover what I already told them. I understand participants lie and pretend to know nothing. We were genuine in all our responses and requests. Odd that when I try to read others reviews, this is not possible. Hmmm. Post Response - I have seen the response from OT Group and I don't think I was bullying. I was stating what happened. I felt my daughter's assessment was not written as observed at all. It was written based on her verbal responses. There was not many physical observations. I did try to explain many times that the follow up work to the assessment was of no use, but I wasn't heard. We are no further advanced that when OT Group started. I wish we had have been offered a different assessor within the group as I had heard good things. I was left feeling deflated after our experience. It seemed to me it was just a money grab with no real empathy for the participant. No one has ever phoned me to explain what could have been done better. We were given an updated assessment with all recommendations regardless of whether NDIS approve them or not, which is what I wanted. I don't think that was up to the OT Group to decide. I wanted an assessment that reflected all my daughter's needs whether they are covered by the plan or not. Follow up work consisted of explanations pasted around the bathroom and kitchen. Picture cues don't work for everyone. If OT Group were really concerned, I would have received a follow up call. I was dumped by the assessor and had the manager finish off our case with no follow up. I don't see that this was professional at all. I am entitled to my opinion and that's what reviews are for. If other people had good experiences, then that is fine too. Mine was not. OT Group should be happy I didn't name who the assessor was.
