We’ve been seeing Wonder Words Speech Pathology in Malvern East since my daughter was only 1.5 years old. She’s starting school next year and has come such a long way! Over the years we’ve seen a few different speech pathologists through Wonder Words, and each one has been kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They’ve helped us understand my daughter’s speech and learning style, given me practical tips to support her at home, and provided both clinic sessions and, since she started kinder, weekly sessions at her kinder for an hour each week. Her therapists also send helpful resources home and provide really clear session notes, which makes it easy to follow up and support her progress between sessions. When one therapist finishes up, they always make sure there’s a smooth transition to the next, so my daughter continues to feel comfortable and supported. Now that she’s about to start school, we feel so much more confident that she can express herself to friends and teachers — and we’re so grateful to Ellie and the team at Wonder Words for helping her get to this point!

I would highly recommend Wonder Words. The therapist my child sees is very patient, listens and adapts her style to fit in with my child’s preferred way of learning instead of adhering to a traditional style of doing speech therapy. My child is happy and the task of working on articulation errors is achieved.

We are extremely grateful to Wonder Words Speech Pathology for the incredible support our son has received. His therapist, Ms.Emma, has been consistently patient, kind, and enthusiastic throughout his sessions. When he first began therapy, he was only able to say a couple of words. With Ms.Emma’s guidance and effective methods, his progress has been remarkable—he can now speak in full phrases and has become much more confident and talkative. We truly appreciate Ms.Emma’s dedication and the positive impact she has made on our son’s communication skills.
