Elise was wonderful with my son and was so patient and caring with him during his appointment. She explained his dyslexia in a manner that he could really understand and took the time to calmly work through his anxiety and emotions surrounding this. I highly recommend Little Voices Speech Pathology.

I am so grateful we found Elise and LVSP. I have been concerned about my son's struggles with reading, especially for the last couple of years, and advised by previous SLPs that whilst they recognised his struggles, their profession could not diagnose, and that it may just take a bit more time or be the ADHD, behavioral, etc. It was so frustrating. I did lots of work with phonics and decoding and also tried tutoring without any real progress. I knew he was struggling but I didn't know what it was or how to help him. Then I heard about Elise's free webinar on understanding dyslexia. Listening to Elise describe signs of dyslexia, and how some people with dyslexia may see the same text differently...it was so insightful! I cried! Finally, someone understood my concerns... and that the problem is not because he's disinterested, distracted ...or my parenting! During that webinar, Elise gave me a window into how hard it was for my 8 year old son to get through each day of school. It showed how intelligent and creative he actually is to be able to come up with strategies just to cope. I left the webinar with so much hope in my heart. Elise and her team are wonderful. I enjoyed watching the assessment; Elise smoothly navigated around my son's various strategies to distract and avoid completing activities so she could assess his abilities accurately. It was Amazing! I am so grateful for Elise and LVSP.

Elise has worked along side our family for 7 years, helping us accept and understand dyslexia. As a result our boys have reached literacy goals we never imagined possible. They love to read and have confidence in their reading. We will be forever grateful to Elise for her nurturing and guidance along our journey.
I'm extremely thankful for my girl's having access to Little Voices, Elise and staff. My girl's are thriving due to the care taken in helping them develop their skills to decode read and write. These areas are such a struggle especially with dyslexia however, with the amazing support from Elise they continue to strive ahead. Elise and her team have been so fabulous over the 6 + years that my children have been working with her. Elise has worked with our daughter since primary school and she is almost at the end of he high school journey. I'm not sure that we would have a daugther with a love of books, the confidence to self-advocate and know her limits and strength if it had not been for all the time, effort, support and understanding that she has received from Elise. Elise is the speech therapist who works with my son, and she has been the first person to truly see him and genuinely want to help. Her passion and dedication to helping children is unmatched. My son went through the school system until grade 4 unable to read, but thanks to Elise, he is now reading! Elise goes above and beyond—she doesn’t just support my son during sessions but also works closely with his school to ensure he’s getting the help he needs. I genuinely believe she will be the turning point in Jet’s life, not only for reading and writing but also for regaining his confidence. We are so grateful for everything she has done and continues to do.
