The CareSide - Queensland’s full prices from My Aged Care. Your Support at Home budget pays for services, and you pay a share called a contribution.

What you pay

These are The CareSide - Queensland’s full prices. With Support at Home, the government pays part of the cost and you pay a share, called a contribution. Services Australia confirms your rates and your provider confirms the amount charged.

You pay nothing towards clinical care such as nursing and personal care. For other services your share is between 5% and 80%, depending on the service and your pension or income.

For example, 2 hours of general house cleaning a week costs $194 at this provider’s weekday price. A full pensioner would pay about $33.95 of that, and a self-funded retiree without a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card about $155.20.

Available funding, the lifetime cap and financial hardship can change what you pay. Lower “no worse off” rates apply if, on 12 September 2024, you were receiving a Home Care Package, were on the National Priority System or had been assessed as eligible. I have a great carer twice a week for 8 hrs total.. we are a perfect match and enjoy each others company very much… nothing is to much trouble and willing to do anything for me… i would be lost if she stopped coming look forward so much to her visits… we do different things each time she comes as to keep it interesting for the both of us… thank you careside Heather

Hi there! I found the Home Support quite difficult to manage at the beginning (Began December 2025) but now I think I am getting The hang of everything!!! It takes a lot to confuse me but I just feel sorry for a lot of people wh don't have access to Computers as that makes life easier! My care Manage is Lillian and I think she sounds lovely (over the phone) and always says that nothing is too much for her! She gives me a lot of confidence as well! So I feel I can recommend the CareSide as I really feel that my needa are being met! HAPPY EASTER!!!!

We recently registered for the At Home Care provided by CareSide. The past 3 months, we have had excellent personalised care for my mother who is 91 years old and loves living at her home. The Careside Support staff are excellent. We feel that Careside has taken the time to verify each support person that they choose for my mother, and that they are properly checked to ensure the support person is suitable for someone of my mother's age and needs. The communication from the Careside Manager is very responsive, almost immediate at times. Thank you Careside for your ongoing support.

They signed me up and that was it. I do not know who my care manager is! She/He was supposed to call weeks ago They overcharged me. Every invoice has been wrong What if I did not notice? Service is non existent Stay away!! Their response is rubbish Who is John? I have never spoken with him so how can he know what I am concerned about! So sad! Still haven’t heard from John or any care manager

I recently had the opportunity to meet parents’ support worker Anne today over face time, as I’m presently overseas. I was so pleasantly surprised when during the face call, (support worker) Anne explained if they get back early before the 2 hour reservation, that she stays with my parents to assist with any extras they may need. I was so very happy that Anne took it upon herself to massage my poor mother’s very badly affected feet, due to her long term podiatry issues that have never been addressed, during this remaining time, My parents seemed very happy with her support and I truly hope they build a strong rapport. I would like to stress, that Anne’s support today was exemplary and and a wonderful introduction to ‘The Care Side’. Again, I would like you to pass on my comments and gratitude to Anne and the company. Many thanks Andi Gallaher

I have found The CareSide to be extremely helpful and supportive for myself and my husband. We didn’t understand the importance of finding the information that will help us to live at home and get help.
