I called today to see whether I could get my new grab rail installed by the front door, I have codes from My Aged Care for subsidised help with things like this. Tamara and I had a long conversation about the codes and how difficult it is to find providers that will take them. And then she organised for my rail to be installed this afternoon - free of charge! Fantastic service for someone who isn't even one of their clients. Thank you. :)

Absolutely life-changing support! Thank you, Tamara and Right at Home Goldfields Grampians Murray team! After 100 exhausting days caring for my elderly father—taking over from my mother while she was in hospital, I was completely burnt out and disillusioned with the aged care system. It felt like no one was listening, nothing was moving forward, and the paperwork was endless. Then I met Tamara from Right at Home Goldfields Grampians Murray, and everything changed. From our very first meeting, Tamara gave me something I hadn’t had in a long time: hope. She listened, really listened—to our situation and immediately offered practical help, emotional support, and a roadmap to navigate the aged care maze. She assisted with paperwork, guided me through funding options I didn’t even know existed, and connected us with qualified, professional carers who truly understood how to support someone living with Alzheimer’s. We had carer Carol spend the day with mum yesterday for the first time. The whole process of organising it was very easy and painless. We felt fully supported and listened to the whole time. It will take time for mum to get used to the changes but i truly believe we have be very lucky to find Tamara and the carers at Right at Home.
