What you pay

These are Gratitude In-home Care’s full prices. With Support at Home, the government pays part of the cost and you pay a share, called a contribution. Services Australia confirms your rates and your provider confirms the amount charged.

You pay nothing towards clinical care such as nursing and personal care. For other services your share is between 5% and 80%, depending on the service and your pension or income.

For example, 2 hours of general house cleaning a week costs $153.98 at this provider’s weekday price. A full pensioner would pay about $26.95 of that, and a self-funded retiree without a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card about $123.18.

Available funding, the lifetime cap and financial hardship can change what you pay. From the moment they arrived, the team was friendly, reliable, and clearly dedicated to making life easier. This company was good at the beginning when we just jointed, unfortunately we were disappointed after using their services for a whilst, especially with the director/owner. No longer use their services, moving to a much better aged care provider. Really glad leaving them, it was like a BIG RELEASED
