No one likes hospital stays they say! Ah.... albeit then there's me. Ive had need over the past several years to be placed in the care for several days to a week or so for various ailments at Sale Hospital. Ive received nothing but loving professional care and attention. I actually utilise the time as a respite from the daily routine and pressures at home and rest to recover. From the doctors to the nurses to the food delivery staff and kitchen staff and the little Cafe and free coffee machine , I recover quicker from whatever aliments I was admitted for due to the diligence and restful environment and availability of tests required such as MRI'S, Scans, ultrasounds and blood tests. A caring crew from the ground up. Thankyou all.

On the 29th April I was admitted to the day procedure facility to have my right eye cataract done...I was a quite anxious, but the staff from reception, to Elaine (what a gem), to the anaesthetist, (she is lovely),to the girls in theatre made the experience easy to cope with....and thankyou Dr Sky Chow, great job..... Just a big thanks to all involved....😊❤️

The very best of Gippsland's midwifery team exists in this hospital. I went back this week to start my 2nd experience with the WHIMS clinic after delivering my first child at Sale Hospital and was reminded of how nurturing the staff are. Every person makes you feel like family and just wraps you in kindness and compassion at every step. Throughout my first pregnancy some of the midwives that guided and supported me were Holly, Michaela (who we now see at the Maternal child health centre and is equally as wonderful there!), Erica, Kate, Fi and many faces with names I can't quite pinpoint these years on. Thankyou all for making the transformative experience of becoming parents such an incredible one!

We took our son into emergency as he was having a stroke - the staff were amazing and very supportive. We were attended to immediately and they followed the Stroke protocol - scans, tests, teleconference and assessment by neurologist then transferred to Melbourne for neurosurgery that night. He is doing really well now with no residual symptoms. Thanks to all the staff involved,
