Thank you very much to Roni who helped Mum access a wheelchair that was perfect. It is lightweight enough for myself to lift into the car. Quite an essential for medical appts. Roni patiently explained the fold up -set up process and how to lift carefully in and out the car. Much appreciated, Roni.

Excellent assistance and care from Bayside council. The drivers are on time, helpful and polite. The personal cares are kind and considerate as well as respectful. I look forward to their coming It’s a fantastic service and nothing is too much trouble to these well trained assistants.

Support at Home Providers

Hi Bayside residents I have spent the last 18 months enlisting care services from Bayside council. It was a big step as I expected to be able to manage my mother's care needs single handed but as she became older, now 95 years she needed more time and support than I could offer. the bayside care manager Tracy is amazing, she understands the system, the costs, support needs and even the personal challenges. even if you don't know what you need it is wonderful to have options and there is no hard sell or expectation. My mother looked forward to Tracys visits and the team Tracy put in place suited my mother perfectly. In the end they felt to her like extended family. I could ask for nothing further. The local council receives much criticism as does age care but Tracy and Bayside exceeded expectations. Zena burgess

Support at Home Providers

We need our gutters cleaned on our house. We had it done once before but now have been told it is unavailable. What use is age care support if this basic service is no longer. I certainly do not want my 80 year old husband climbing up ladders. We also wanted windows cleaned and gardening, but also not available. How is Age Care helping us stay in our homes when we can't get the basics that most elderly people need. I am not happy with the service provided so far. Chris
