My wife has a back pain problem and went to see a Doctor at the Yarram and District Health Service. She was sent to have a scam. Several weeks have passed with no contact to say the results were in. She then rang to see if the results were available only to be told she needed see a Doctor. The only appointment available was a phone appointment at 1.30pm. She waited until 3pm but no call. She then called YDHS to find out what happened. She was told that the Doctor called her at 12pm. As she was not expecting the call until 1.30pm and was not able to take a call at that time. So she is unable to get another until the following week and has to put up with pain until then. I find this to be extremely incompetent and I feel that YDHS needs to pick up their act. It is no wonder that local people are traveling to other places for their health needs.

I must b a sucker and believe In every lie they say well it happened agn have a cyst on back did not look at it let alone have it lanced and my leg nothing even my foot I only came back too see if my son and his dad wanted to move too Queensland there there are heaps of doctors 5 hospitals unis night clubs , 3d picture theatre a life. Drs there are mainly from USA. But gezz they just don't listen at all so much for care and don't speak English either waiting for ooops misdiagnosis Matt Samani email cause this is ridiculous ok

I visited this hospital last year after twisting my ankle. As someone without Medicare coverage, I made the decision to stay and get it checked based on the price I was advised on the day. However, I was shocked to receive a call the next day saying I would be charged double that amount. I was told this was because “staff wouldn’t know about prices,” which is incredibly frustrating—patients should be able to trust the information given by staff. I was never seen by a doctor and spent less than 15 minutes there. Being charged $500 for a bandage and an ice pack is outrageous. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this facility based on my experience.
