PlanCare’s full prices from My Aged Care. Your Support at Home budget pays for services, and you pay a share called a contribution.

What you pay

These are PlanCare’s full prices. With Support at Home, the government pays part of the cost and you pay a share, called a contribution. Services Australia confirms your rates and your provider confirms the amount charged.

You pay nothing towards clinical care such as nursing and personal care. For other services your share is between 5% and 80%, depending on the service and your pension or income.

For example, 2 hours of general house cleaning a week costs $242 at this provider’s weekday price. A full pensioner would pay about $42.35 of that, and a self-funded retiree without a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card about $193.60.

Available funding, the lifetime cap and financial hardship can change what you pay. Lower “no worse off” rates apply if, on 12 September 2024, you were receiving a Home Care Package, were on the National Priority System or had been assessed as eligible. My services with PlanCare were most enjoyable. Sivy helped me find the nicest carer, and gardeners. Plus, Sivy promptly called every month, for a review of the provided service and to check if all was well. I was happy to have joined with them. I would highly recommend their services.

We have been with Plancare for nearly 2 years now and overall I am happy with their service provided. There was much frustration, delays and problems during the period when Aged Care funding was changed but everything is back up to good standards now. Invoices are processed on time and budgeting support is useful. Staff reply to enquiries promptly and provide updates on delays or problems. They have been updating their systems and communications to improve client experience and this has improved my ability to plan and budget each quarter. Thanks

A great choice as an aged provider for my parents. My co-care manager has been supportive and timely with regular monthly contact to review my parents' care and support at home. Very professional and yet caring, provides a bespoke plan for each individual, and will usually respond that day, or within 24 hours. I feel that my PlanCare co-care manager understands the needs of my parents, and me! I highly recommend PlanCare, especially if you would like individual attention to the Support at Home needs of your loved one.

I've been a self managed client of Plancare's for over 6 months and the service and attention to detail has been excellent. Monthly statements are received promptly, and any minor issues from my support team invoices are resolved effortlessly. My Plancare account manager Kim Signal is always available to answer any queries I have and she contacts by me by phone monthly on a scheduled date to discuss any issues and my health and well being position overall. Plancare has always been responsive and helpful for our self-management of Mum's Support at Home package. Through their co-care partner Serin, they have always provided clear communications, timely responses to queries and patience with our misunderstandings. They've managed the transition to SAH from the HCP system with seamlessness and clarity about the issues they faced along the way. Payments to providers are always within the timeframe they promise. Highly recommended if you're looking for a package provider that both supports your self-management needs and stays out of your way.

Plancare is responsible for managing my 90 year old mother Greta's Home Support Package. Sivy Te is our Coordinator & our monthly phone call is a great way to touch base, as Sivy is in Sydney & we are in Perth. I have found Sivy very helpful & caring in answering my queries via email or phone. Absolutely Fantastic All online in Real time so you can see ALL your funds immediately no lagging which puts you right up front ACCURATELY managing your affairs. My carers are getting paid weekly if not fortnightly and are so happy now as well …!!!! I had a call from my new Plan Care Manager Kim Signal today and it was like a breath of fresh air Cheerful,friendly absolutely wonderful person to have on board…She really knows her stuff and can get you sorted out easily in no time at all …Plancare have a culture of great helpful people and I’ve had them all but Kim is No1 and brings additional knowledge experience and a feeling of wellbeing after and during talking with her. I’m looking forward even more so to move ahead with Kim and Plancare for my Aged Care guidance ….If you’re not happy where you are THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD BE AAAAA+++++
